So I know I’ve had this disclaimer about the free picks being the weakest plays and that I don’t play them, but I really put 1% of my bankroll on these games in comparison to 3-4% on the regular and BEST BETS. I just don’t want people getting ridiculous on the free picks when they aren’t intended to be the highest percentage of winners that I offer.

15* Detroit Tigers -115 over Chicago White Sox at 5 Dimes

I’m going to ride Edwin Jackson tonight as he has a 1.31 ERA and 0.87 WHIP in six road starts and should post decent numbers tonight against a struggling White Sox team. Chicago is hitting just .211 in their last seven games and .218 at home this year. Detroit hasn’t been knocking the cover off the ball, but Gavin Floyd has a 5.35 ERA on the season. Sure he’s had some success recently, but that was against a couple of weak hitting teams. I’ll go with the road team here today.

    I have no problem admitting that the free picks have been losing, but a simple look at my plays yesterday (http://www.betfirms.com/jack-jones/ ), and my overall MLB record for the season (http://www.betfirms.com/sportscapping.php?leaderboard/leg,mlb/afc,AF2_2) shows that I continue to make a profit with my picks. I hate that I have to keep pointing this out to people like you, but since you don’t take the time to back up your remarks, I feel it is necessary. I don’t make “excuses”. Would you rather I lied about the previous day’s results like so many handicappers out there? People don’t come here for false promises and artificially inflated records, they come here for consistency and honesty.

    You are correct, Jack. You’re “…consistency…” is in the art of choosing incorrectly at a constant level.

    Prove me wrong, show us a winner!

    That should not be so difficult. You’re supposed to be the professional. You should know that in order to hook a lot of believers, you need to throw out a guarantee!
