Jack’s Free Sports Picks: 6/5
Written June 5, 2009 by Jack Jones
A forgettable day in bases last night with my first real losing night in awhile. We hit with the Lakers in the NBA, which helps a little, but the losing day in baseball has me out for revenge on Friday. Two premium plays on tonight’s card with a 15* and a 20* MLB No-Brainer. I’m still up almost 400 units on the 2nd place capper in MLB picks this year, and still on a 9-3 run with 20* Best Bets. Grab my package now at the Jack Jones home page or take a look at some of the baseball picks & NBA picks being released by our other top handicappers.
Free Premium Picks: I’m going to take a little break from the comment for a free pick offer. Instead I’m going to release one of my premium picks as the free pick over the next couple of days. The comment offer will be back shortly! You are still more than welcome to comment on today’s pick, I appreciate the feedback.
Free Pick for Friday
So I know I’ve had this disclaimer about the free picks being the weakest plays and that I don’t play them, but I really put 1% of my bankroll on these games in comparison to 3-4% on the regular and BEST BETS. I just don’t want people getting ridiculous on the free picks when they aren’t intended to be the highest percentage of winners that I offer.
You can find more great winners every day by visiting our sports betting forum. Handicapper Steve Janus won the college football title here at the site, and he’s giving away all of his baseball plays for FREE in the forum.
15* on Texas Rangers +126 at Sportsbook.com
The Red Sox have been tough at home, but I’ll take the Rangers tonight in Fenway with Kevin Millwood on the mound. So far this season Millwood is 4-4 with a 3.23 ERA and a 1.23 WHIP. Brad Penny takes the mound for the Red Sox, and while he has improved over his last three starts, he still has a 5.63 ERA and a 1.60 WHIP this season, including a 6.14 ERA and a 1.73 WHIP in Boston. The Rangers are scoring 5.4 runs per game, just a slight advantage over the Red Sox, and behind a strong outing from Millwood I think they take the first game of this series in Boston.
CBB: 51-36
NBA: 26-38
NHL: 4-0 (+665)
CFB: 3-1
NFL: 4-1
MLB: 21-25 (-721)
I also post my free picks on Twitter so if you follow me there it may be easier to get the picks if you are away from your computer and stop by every day for more free baseball picks from top handicappers.
