Jack’s Free Sports Picks: 7/16
Written July 16, 2009 by Jack Jones
Back in action on Thursday with three premium plays. Let’s start off the 2nd half of the MLB season with a bang! Two 15* selections for the night, plus a 20* No-Brainer total that’s ready to cash in. Now on a 112-88 run for +2,566 units over my last 200 premium picks! That includes a 33-19 record on all 20* top plays over my last 52! Grab my package now at the Jack Jones home page or take a look at some of the baseball picks being released by our other top handicappers.
Free Premium Picks: I’m going to take a little break from the comment for a free pick offer. Instead I’m going to release one of my premium picks as the free pick over the next couple of days. The comment offer will be back shortly! You are still more than welcome to comment on today’s pick, I appreciate the feedback.
Free Pick for Thursday
So I know I’ve had this disclaimer about the free picks being the weakest plays and that I don’t play them, but I really put 1% of my bankroll on these games in comparison to 3-4% on the regular and BEST BETS. I just don’t want people getting ridiculous on the free picks when they aren’t intended to be the highest percentage of winners that I offer.
You can find more great winners every day by visiting our sports betting forum. Handicapper Steve Janus won the college football title here at the site, and he’s giving away all of his baseball plays for FREE in the forum.
15* on Washington Nationals +115 at 5DIMES
It’s pretty rare that it’s a good idea to take baseball’s worst team, but I will play them small tonight against the Cubs. National’s starter, John Lannan, has been nothing but solid at home this season, going 3-0 with a 2.20 ERA and 1.19 WHIP in 9 starts in Washington. Meanwhile, Cubs’ starter, Rich Harden, has put together just one quality start in his last three appearances, going 1-2 with a 7.71 ERA and 2.14 WHIP. The Nationals are actually out-scoring the Cubs this season, 4.4 runs per game to 4.1 runs per game, and though Washington’s bullpen is always a concern, Chicago has had plenty of trouble out of their relief staff on the road as well. This is a perfect spot for the Nats to pick up their 27th win of the season.
CBB: 51-36
NBA: 26-38
NHL: 4-0 (+665)
CFB: 3-1

MLB: 31-39 (-1213)
I also post my free picks on Twitter so if you follow me there it may be easier to get the picks if you are away from your computer and stop by every day for more free baseball picks from top handicappers.

Got something to say?

Sir I’ld stop picking baseball games. I’ve noticed you are below .500 and your pick for tonight isn’t looking so great either. If you want some real advice check out my website, maybe you could learn a thing or two.
