Take the Twins over the Cleveland Indians with Minnesota starter, Nick Blackburn coming on strong lately. The Twins have won 2 of Blackburn’s last three starts, where he has earned a 3.20 ERA and 1.32 WHIP, including a 7 inning, one-run performance his last time out. The Indians have lost 5 of their last 7 games, averaging just 3.3 runs per game over that stretch and posting a team batting average of .247. They send David Huff to the mound a guy with a 6.57 ERA and 1.68 WHIP in 19 starts this year. The Twins are simply playing better baseball than the Indians right now, and have a significant edge in the starting pitching match up.
