Las Vegas Strippers

Many people go to Las Vegas to gamble in the casinos or throw down cash in the sportsbooks, but if you are young woman living in the city then invariably people will group you in as Las Vegas strippers. There are over 130 gentlemen’s clubs in the city with more than 10,000 women performing as exotic dancers.

The ladies who perform in Vegas are the highest paid in the world and they are also known as slingers, grinders, peelers, or ecdysiasts. These women make nearly $500 an hour in tips, which would bring them to close to $600,000 per year. That enables these young women to own their own home, drive a luxery car, and invest their money.
Las Vegas has a long history as the center of the exotic dancing world, beginning back in the 1930’s whe the Boulder Dam was being built. The men would flock down to Freemont Street with their paychecks in hand to play the slots, drink some liquor, and take a look at the free burlesque-style lounge acts. The popularity of these clubs grew through WWII with larger clubs and resorts being built.
It all came to a head in 1957 when the topless Minsky’s Follies appeared for the first time at the Desert Inn. This was a unique show that rocketed ticket sales and the exotic dancing spread like wild fire throughout the different casinos.
Then during the 1970s things came full scale, with a more intimate, fully nude show at venues all around the city. The Palomino Club, Las Vegas’ oldest strip club was one of the first to offer liquor consumption and fully naked women. It offered premium booze and seemed a world away from the dive joints that lined Fremont. Like most of these adult entertainment sites, the Palomino has been involved with claims of murder to racketeering, and their owners have been charged with shooting employees and bribing taxi drivers. These days it’s classified as one of the sleezier clubs in town, having been replaced by the Spearmint Rhino and Tresures as the destination for the classier clientele. There is the Sapphire which is the world’s largest strip club, and Scores, which is a sports-themed joint that grosses more money in one night than most bars will in an entire year.
So what makes Las Vegas strippers so special? Well these dancers are some of the most athletic around and the plastic surgeons in the area make everyone look that much better. There are over 40 million tourists entering the city each year who spend millions of dollars on cover and tips. This draws out the best in the best for dancers.
In Vegas you’ll find the largest gentlement’s clubs in the world, what might seem like a warehouse from the outside and packed with several stages and bars on the inside.
The next time you are in Vegas, make sure you make a stop at one of these clubs. The best are open all hours of the day, with widescreen visuals of the action, and private lap dances designed to lure your money out of your pocket and to the house and ladies. There is big money in this business and you can get VIP or bachelor party packages that will give you your own private stage, bottle service, and a private limo to and from the club. Just remember that most of these Las Vegas strippers make more money than you ever will.
