Madden 2010’s Top 10 Players

madden-2010-player-ratings Anticipation is building for Madden 2010 and I know some people out there think that the game is so good at simulating real results they use it for NFL handicapping. My days of video game playing are in the past, but I do find it interesting to see how they rate the players in the game. IGN has an early look at the top 10 players in Madden 2010, with five on defense and five on offense. BetUS offers a $500 match bonus for our readers!

Offense
1. Larry Fitzgerald
2. Peyton Manning
3. Andre Johnson
4. Tony Gonzalez
5. Adrian Peterson

Defense

1. Nnamdi Asonmugha
2. Troy Polamalu
3. Ed Reed
4. Albert Haynesworth
5. Patrick Willis

A few things that I find interesting are that DeMarcus Ware didn’t make the list even though he’s an absolute beast of a pass rusher for the Cowboys. Also, there is no Tom Brady. He missed all of last year and I’m not sure how he’ll respond to that, but I’m a little surprised EA Sports dropped him off the 98/99 numbers he has had the last two years.

IGN also has an interesting article on the top 25 quarterbacks in Madden history if you are really into the game and excited for the release.
