Orlando Magic Philadelphia 76ers Game 4 Predictions

The Orlando Magic are in a lot of trouble heading into game 4 this Sunday, as they are down 2-1 in the series. Game 4 is once again in Philadelphia, and the 76ers have a chance of really taking control of this series. In game 3 the 76ers squeaked by with a 96-94 win in their first game on their home court. Andre Iguodala led the way for the 76ers with 29 points and 7 rebounds, but they also got a big game out of Andre Miller, who had 24 points, 9 rebounds, and 7 assists. The only other 76er to score in double figures was starting guard Willie Green, who dropped in 12 points on the Magic. For Orlando they got a huge game from Dwight Howard, as the big man had 36 points and 11 rebounds on 12-16 shooting. Rafer Alston had 17 points, Hedo Turkoglu had 11, and Rashard Lewis had 14, but the bench had just 10 points. This is a huge game for both teams, as a win evens up he series for the Magic and once again gives them home court advantage, and for the 76ers it pretty much seals the deal, as few teams make it back after falling behind 3 games to 1. Here is a look at what I think both teams need to do to win this game, and my prediction on who comes out on top against the spread.Â
What the Magic have to do to win: I for one thought that if Howard had a big game, the Magic would be the ones who came out on top. It wasn’t as though the 76ers had complete control of this game, as it was pretty close throughout. For the Magic I don’t think they can give up getting the ball to Howard in game 4, as he was so efficient in game 3. What I think the Magic really need is to get a bigger game out of Alston, Lewis, or Turkoglu, as someone else has to score in 20 points, and not just Howard doing all the scoring. The bench only produced 10 points, but a big reason for that is the reserves didn’t get that much time to show what they can do. While the Magic turned it over less than the 76ers, I think they have to take better care of the ball on the road. Another story is the fall off of Courtney Lee, who scored just 6 points after two very good games in Orlando. I think the Magic are going to do whatever it takes to win this game, and I think they have a very good shot at getting the job done. Bet the Magic -4 at Sportsbook.com.Â
What the 76ers have to do to win: What a big win for the 76ers in game 3, as they have proven they are very capable of winning this series, and knocking off one of the top 3 of the Eastern Conference. The one concern I have is the inability of this team to win going away, as both their wins have been by a couple points. Its not a big concern, but you have to wonder if the Magic are going to steal one of these close ones from them. Though just a 3 players scored in double figures, they were lights out from the field as a team, shooting 52%, and I think they are going to need another good shooting night if they want to get by Orlando in game 4. The 76ers will also need Iguodala and Miller to keep up their outstanding play, but they could use some help. Though the bench was solid in game 3 scoring 21 points, no one really came in and lit it up from the floor and really changed the game. I think the 76ers are going to give the Magic all kinds of problems in game 3, but I don’t know if they can come out on top with Howard scoring 30+ again. Bet the 76ers +4 at Sportsbook.com.
My Prediction: Magic -4. I think Orlando gets this series back to even. The Magic know how important this game is to them, as their playoff lives are pretty much on the line. The 76ers haven’t killed them in this series, and it has been the Magic hurting themselves more than it has been the 76ers dominating games. I think Orlando behind Howard come out and control this game, and win by 6-8 points.Â

should not have been this close, Magic had a nice lead and lost it with about 40 ticks to go and then needed a 3 at the final seconds to win.
Just play the unders, they are
6-2 over the weekend, and should have been 8-0, one went over by 1 point in Big D and if chicago didn’t see OT.
