NBA Futures Odds & Betting Lines

Who do you think will win the NBA MVP this year? What team do you think will win the NBA Championship? BetUS.com asks you these questions and more about the NBA this year. With so many teams in the NBA looking to improve, it’s not surprising that several head coaches are considered to be on the hot seat. The Grizzlies, Kings, 76ers, Clippers, and Pacers could all be making moves soon, or, just about any other team could decide that they need a change and fire their head coach at any time. One of the NBA future bets that BetUS has posted poses the question: Who will be the next NBA Head Coach to be fired?
Right now, Lebron James is the favorite to win the NBA MVP this year at 1/2 odds, but Kobe Bryant and Chris Paul are right behind him with 4/1 odds to win the honor. Dwayne Wade and Chris Bosh are also in the conversation at 6/1 and 10/1 odds, respectively. Paul Pierce and Allen Iverson each come in at 20/1 odds, the next best of the group, so they have some work to do, but are certainly still possibilities for the MVP.
As for the NBA Championship, it’s pretty clear that the Lakers, at 7/4 odds are the odds-on favorite right now. The defending champion Boston Celtics are currently ranked second as far as the odds are concerned with 7/2 odds to repeat as NBA Finals Champs. The Houston Rockets and New Orleans Hornets are also thought to have decent chances of winning the title at 11/1 odds to win it all, while the Utah Jazz and Detroit Pistons sit at 14/1 odds to bring home an NBA Championship this year.
