NBA Picks 1/30/08

We’ve hit a cold spot for our NBA picks so it’s time to go back to the drawing board. I took a lot of time looking at today’s games and this is the winner that I have found.
Portland Trailblazers -3
This is a good spot for the Blazers tonight so we will gladly lay the small number against the Cavs. Portland is 22-7 ATS at home when they host a team with a winning record the past two seasons and they are 10-2 ATS at home when coming off a win this year. Cleveland has been playing well lately but this team is just 11-12 straight up on the road this year. Portland had a great run during December and early January but has cooled off. Don’t make the mistake of thinking that was just a lucky run though, as this team has talent. Enough talent to take care of LeBron and company tonight.
