NBA Picks 2/1/08

Suns were a pretty disappointing loss yesterday after dominating the entire game then tanking on their free throws down the stretch. Let’s get some back tonight.
Orlando -4.5
The Magic have won three straight games against the 76ers in Philadelphia and I don’t see why they can’t do it again tonight. Orlando has been hot in winning four of their last five games and now have Jameer Nelson back in the lineup. Philly is coming off a blowout win and teams that normally burst out like that come back to reality hard the next time they hit the floor. I have no problem laying the points here as Dwight Howard is poised for a big night.
New Orleans -3
The Hornets had won nine straight games before going down to the Golden State Warriors, and this team is hungry to get back on the right track. Chris Paul and David West are going to be playing excited after making the All-Star team and the Kings aren’t going to be able to stop them. Sacramento has played up and down all year long and I’m expecting a down performance out of them tonight.
