NBA Picks: Los Angeles Clippers at Golden State Warriors

The Los Angeles Clippers will look to continue their recent strong play on the road when they visit the Golden State Warriors Friday night.
Los Angeles comes into the game off their biggest win of the season, as they ended the Heats 13 game road winning streak with a 111-105 win Wednesday night. The same night the Warriors let an early lead slip away at home against the Los Angeles Lakers, as they fell 115-110 at home.
This is the third meeting between the two teams this season, with each team winning at home. The Warriors beat the Clippers 109-91 at home way back on Oct. 29, but just recently lost at Los Angeles on Sunday 105-91.
Taking a look at the NBA spreads for tonight’s games, oddsmakers have the Warriors favored by 3.5-points over the Clippers at home.

The Clippers were just 5-21 after a 105-91 loss at Philadelphia on Dec. 15, but have been on an tear ever since that loss, going 8-3 in their last 11 games, including three straight overall and three in a row on the road.
Eric Gordon and Blake Griffin have really carried the Clippers lately. Gordon had a team-high 26 points against the Heat, and Griffin scored 24 points and grabbed 14 rebounds for his 24th straight double-double.
Los Angeles also got a big game from veteran point guard Baron Davis, who had 20 points and nine assists in the win. Davis is averaging just 10 points on the season, and if they can continue to get production like this out of him, they are going to be a very difficult team to handle the rest of the season.
The Warriors have to be disappointed with the way they finished against the Lakers Wednesday night. Golden State had a six point lead heading into the fourth quarter and had pretty much kept the Lakers offense in check. Los Angeles however exploded for 46 points in the final period to take home the win.
The Warriors play 12 of their next 13 games at home where they are 9-7 this season. The Warriors had won six of their last nine games before losing back-to-back games against the Clippers and Lakers.
Monta Ellis did everything he could to give the Warriors a chance against Los Angeles, scoring 38 points on 15 of 26 shooting. There was question of whether Ellis would even play the game, as he had been battling the flu coming into the game.
Dorell Wright continued his strong play of late with 27 points and Stephen Curry added 15 points and 10 assists. Wright is averaging nearly 25 points over his last three games, and Golden State needs him to continue to be a force offensively if they are going to turn things around.
I think the Warriors will bounce back from their tough loss against the Lakers and pull out the win tonight. Golden State is 12-3 ATS in home games after a division game over the last 2 seasons, so the best move is to lay the points in this one.
