NBA Spreads: Memphis Grizzlies at Oklahoma City Thunder
Written by Steve Janus - Google +
The Oklahoma City Thunder will go for their fourth straight win tonight when they face the Memphis Grizzlies at home. This will be the third meeting between the two teams, with the home team winning each of the previous two contests.
Our NBA spreads for this game have the Thunder favored by 7-points over the Grizzlies with the total set at 206.
Memphis will try and bounce back from a couple of tough losses. After blowing a double-digit lead against the Rockets on Saturday, the Grizzlies fell 93-84 at home against the Lakers last night.
The Thunder crushed the Jazz 121-105 at Utah on Saturday, just one night after beating Phoenix 111-107. Oklahoma City is 5-1 in their last six games, and 7-1 in their last eight at home.

The Grizzlies had won five straight before losing their last two, and were in both of those games. Memphis trailed by just five points going into the final period against the Lakers, but managed just 16 points in the last 12 minutes.
Sam Young led the Grizzlies with 22 points, and has now scored in double-figures in six of his last seven games. Rudy Gay finished with 18 points, Mike Conley had 13, and Marc Gasol finished with 10 points. Zach Randolph finished with just eight points in the loss. it was the first time Randolph failed to reach double-digits in 41 games.
Oklahoma City had the deep ball working in their last game against the Jazz. The Thunder hit 13-21 from long distance. Russell Westbrook was big reason for that, going 4-4 from three-point range. Westbrook finished with 33 points and 10 assists. Kevin Durant had a bit of an off night with just 21 points, while Jeff Green had a fine game with 20 points.
The Thunder have been scoring at will lately, hitting the 100 point mark in eight of their last nine games, including each of their last five.
In the first two games between these teams it has been quite a battle between Kevin Durant and Zach Randolph. Randolph is averaging 29 points and 16 rebounds, while Durant is scoring 34 points and grabbing 8.5 boards.
I think with the Grizzlies coming off a hard fought game against the Lakers last night, and having to travel to Oklahoma City for the game tonight, your money has to be on the Thunder at home to not only win but cover the spread.
