NBA Spreads: Milwaukee Bucks at Los Angeles Clippers
Written by Steve Janus - Google +
The Los Angeles Clippers will go for their ninth consecutive win at home when the host the Milwaukee Bucks Monday night at the Staples Center. It is the first meeting between these two teams this season, but the Clippers have won nine of their last 10 at home against the Bucks.
Milwaukee got Brandon Jennings back from injury Saturday against the Nets, and while Jennings barely played, Milwaukee was able to win 91-81 for their third straight win and fifth in their last seven games.
The Clippers ended a short two-game losing streak with a 103-88 win over the Bobcats on Saturday, and with a win tonight they would have their longest winning streak at home since moving to Los Angeles in 1984.
Our NBA spreads have the Clippers favored by 4-points over the Bucks with the total set at 189.

Jennings finished with just two points in 11 minutes, and it will likely take a few games before Jennings is back in the starting lineup and contributing more offensively. Carlos Delfino has really gave the Bucks a spark lately. Delfino had 21 points against the Nets in just his sixth game back after missing 32 games this season. Andrew Bogut had 17, while Corey Maggette, Ersan Ilyasova, and Keyon Dooling each had 14.
Milwaukee played without John Salmons, Earl Boykins, and Chris Douglas-Roberts on Saturday, and both Salmons and Douglas-Roberts are listed as questionable for tonight.
The Clippers have had to deal with playing without Eric Gordon lately, and so far Randy Foye has stepped up and played well. Foye had 21 points and four assists in the win over Charlotte, and is averaging nearly 19 over his last three games.
Blake Griffin had 24 points and 10 rebounds against the Bobcats, and with the way this kid is playing the Clippers have a shot to win every night he steps on the floor. Baron Davis also had a nice game with 12 points, 11 assists, and six rebounds, while Ryan Gomes added 18 points on 6-8 shooting.
If the Clippers can get this kind of balance offensively tonight against the Bucks, I think they not only have a great shot at winning this game, but I also like them to cover the four point spread. Milwaukee is just 3-6 in their last nine road games, and those three wins came against the likes of New Jersey, Cleveland, and Toronto. I think the Clippers are far better than any of those teams, and will take care of Milwaukee pretty easily tonight.
