NCAA Basketball Picks 1/17/08

Nice day yesterday with our 2-0 sweep. Let’s see if we can’t keep the gravy train rolling with another pair of winners for tonight.
Minnesota +2
Sure Indiana is playing well this season, but Tubby Smith seems to have really turned the Minnesota program around.
Indiana has gone 1-5 ATS in their last five trips to Minnesota and are 2-10 ATS in their last 12 Big Ten games. The Gophers haven’t lost at home yet this season and we don’t see them putting a blemish on that record tonight.
Denver -3
There’s no need for us to get complicated on this game. Denver plays well at home and Arkansas State is horrible when they travel. In this series home court advantage is even more important as that team has won five in a row and eight out of the last ten. Denver is 7-3 ATS against Arkansas State in their last 10 matchups, so we’ll ride them again tonight.
