College Basketball Picks for January 9th, 2008

Both of these teams have been struggling this season, but I’m riding the Yellow Jackets in this one. Georgia is only 6-15 ATS the last three years against teams that are averaging more than 77 ppg. Georgia Tech is putting up 77.2 ppg overall but more than 79 ppg on the road.
Ole Miss +9
Ole Miss is the better rebounding team in this one, and they are 8-1 ATS when they get 4 or more rebounds than their opponents the last two seasons. The Rebels are also good against good teams going 13-4 ATS the last two seasons against teams outscoring their opponents by more than 8 ppg. The Vols sure fit that system as they have an average margin of victory of almost 20 points, but those teams weren’t as good as Mississippi.
