NCAA Basketball Picks 2/7/08

We had a split yesterday as St. Joe’s laid an egg but Georgia Tech took down Wake Forest in ACC action. We also hit with Duke over North Carolina in the marquee Wednesday night game. Let’s keep it going with a winner that I’m pretty confident in out in the Pac-10.
Washington State +2.5
This is another situation where the betting public is all over the team we are fading. The line on this game started out at 1.5 but has jumped a full point in over night wagering. We love it even more now as we really think the Cougars pull this one out over the Bruins. Washington State started the season off hot, maybe a little too hot before losing to UCLA back in the middle of January. They also had won 11 straight games at the Wallis Beasley Performing Arts Coliseum before dropping their last two, so you know they are going to want to both avenge their first loss of the season and get back on track in front of their home crowd.
