If you are holding a pocket pair then you are already in fairly exclusive company at 72.7 to 1 odds.

When you catch two more of the same on the flop, not only are you almost guaranteed to win the hand, but you are also catching 407 to 1 odds. This doesn’t seem to happen very often and now you know why.
