Ohio shocked the Georgetown Hoyas on Thursday handing them the worst loss any #3 seed has received from a #14 seed in NCAA tournament history.  The Bobcats were on their game offensively, scoring 97 points against one of the top defensive teams from the Big East conference.  Ohio shot 23 three-pointers, hitting 13 and shot better than 58% from the floor.  Georgetown was a favorite of 13-14 points coming into the game, but the Bobcats showed how a team that gets hot in at the right time can catch a top seeded team off guard.  The Bobcats will need more excellent shooting against Tennessee as Ohio is again a heavy underdog.

Tennessee had anything but an easy first round test against San Diego State.  The Vols took away the 3-point victory, but the Aztecs were within 1 point with 30 seconds left in the game.  Tennessee will need to avoid overlooking Ohio, who many thought didn’t deserve their automatic bid to the NCAA tournament.  The Vols need to use their size to their advantage and figure out the pick-and-roll that Georgetown had so much trouble with.
