Ole Miss at Arkansas Football Betting Lines

Ole Miss heads into Arkansas after coming off a tough loss to Alabama. One could argue that Ole Miss is just four plays away from being 7-0. They have had some tough losses and are battle tested. To make matters worse for Arkansas, Houston Nutt makes his return to Fayetteville. There is no doubt Nutt will have his team ready to dominate this game. The college football lines makers seem to agree as BetUS has Ole Miss listed as a 5-point favorite and the total set at 53.5.

Ole Miss has an extremely balanced offense. They can throw multiple formations at you and can run and pass affectively. The Rebels can throw multiple running backs at you. Brandon Bolden and Cordera Eason have both carried the ball over 60 times and have combined for four touchdowns. Freshman Enrique Davis has seen more playing time as of late. Also we all know about the Wild-Rebel formation. Dexter McCluster has done an outstanding job at making plays for Ole Miss. He averages over six yards and rush and over 15 yards per catch and has four total touchdowns.

Jevan Snead has been solid all year under center. Snead has had trouble with turnovers, but he has faced some of the nation’s best defenses. Snead has thrown ten touchdowns this year and seems to be coming into his own against these SEC defenses. Shay Hodge has been his go to guy. Hodge has five receiving touchdowns on the year.

Despite knocking off Auburn, which isn’t even look like a great win anymore, Arkansas has only beaten Western Illinois and Louisiana-Monroe. Not to mention those two games were very close. Arkansas has been blown out by upper tier teams, and Ole Miss has be able to stay with them and even knocked off Florida.

Houston Nutt will have his Rebels ready for this game. Ole Miss is just a much better football team than Arkansas at this point and will easily cover this spread as Ole Miss has played their best games on the road.
