Rams vs Cardinals NFL Betting Lines

Written December 27, 2009 by Hector Garza

The woeful Rams (1-13) are hitting the road as they travel to take on the Cardinals in a NFC West matchup.  St. Louis has lost six straight and our NFL spreads have them picked to lose again by 14 points, with the total for the game set at 43.5. They’ve struggled on both sides of the ball, allowing 377 points and only scoring 154 in 14 contests.  Arizona (9-5) has already clinched the division with their 31-24 win agains the Lions, and their hopes to make it to their second straight super bowl are very much intact.  Many think that this year’s team is even better, but that remains to be seen with the final two games of the regular season.  Be sure to take advantage of the 20% Deposit Bonus from Bookmaker when betting on the NFL.

It looked to be a blowout last week when Kurt Warner led his team to a 17-0 halftime advantage, however, the Lions roared back in the third quarter, with an interception getting returned 100+ yards for a td and another ten points to tie it up at 17 a piece.  Arizona prevailed with 14 points in the fourth, and Warner finished the day with two scores to one pick and 233 yards passing.  It’s been another pro bowl year for the 38 year old, who’s thrown for 25 td’s and over 3,400 yards.  He’s surrounded with an all star cast of Larry Fitzgerald, Anquan Boldin and Steve Breaston as receivers, and bruising Beanie Wells and Tim Hightower in the back field.  His achilles heel has been turnovers, where he’s lost five of nine fumbles and thrown 14 interceptions.  As an offense they’re ranked 10th in ppg with 24.1, where defensively they’re allowing 20.1.  Against Detroit they added a fumble recovery and two picks, and have 27 takeaways on the year.  They’ve also done a great job pressuring opposing QB’s, where they’re tied for 4th in the league with 38 sacks.

Betfirms has all the expert NFL picks and free game breakdowns that you could need on a weekly basis.  This should be another chance for Arizona to put on an offensive clinic while shutting down St. Louis’s sorry offense.  If they focus on Jackson and Avery they should have no problems limiting them to 10 points.  The Cardinals should beat the spread in what is basically a tune up before their last game against Green Bay.
