South Florida at Cincinnati Football Odds & Lines

South Florida and Cincinnati both head into this game looking for a bounce back win. Each team still has a chance to win the Big East title. The loser of this game will essentially be out of contention for the crown. The odds posted by Sportsbook.com show South Florida as a 3-point favorite with the total set at 51.5.

South Florida is once again led by quarterback Matt Grothe. Grothe has thrown 14 touchdowns on the season and has rushed for three more. Not only has Grothe done an outstanding job at throwing the football, he also leads the team in rushing yards. Grothe will look to throw the ball to wide receiver Taurus Johnson. Johnson averages 14 yards per catch and has four touchdowns. Look for him to have a nice day against the Bearcats.

South Florida has a strong defense. The Bulls are allowing just 18 points per game. In the yardage category, the Bulls allowing both under 200 yards passing per game and less than 100 yards rushing. Defensive end George Selvie is having a great year. He has recorded five sacks and 10 tackles for loss, despite being double teamed game in and game out.

Cincinnati has be an under the radar team this season. The Bearcats have just one big in loss and are no means out of the conference title hunt. Beating South Florida will put them in a great position to a serious contender come the last couple of week. The Bearcat offense has been efficient all season. They are averaging a modest 27 points per game. Quarterback Tony Pike has only thrown two interceptions on the year.

Cincinnati brings a solid defense to the table. In their five wins the Bearcats are allowing just over 12 points per game. Last season against South Florida they forced Grothe into throwing for interceptions in a five point win.
