It’s time to get back to the bowl schedule on Friday night, plus you can get in on NHL and NBA betting as both leagues have full slates. Let’s take a look at the general overview of today’s action:

Motor City Bowl

After a day off the bowl season picks back up on Friday night when Florida Atlantic takes on Central Michigan in the Motor City Bowl. The Owls come into this game with a 6-6 record, and bettors cashed in on them in seven of their 12 games. This is a pretty hot team that has won four of their last five games heading into tonight’s contest.

The Chippewas on the other hand come in on a bit of a down note, losing their last two games to Ball State and Eastern Michigan. Those two defeats gave Central Michigan a 8-4 record overall and a 6-5 mark against the spread. Before losing the last two games, the Chips had won six straight games.

Over at BetJamaica you will find Central Michigan as a 7-point favorites, with the total set at 67.

NBA Action:

Boston takes the court again tonight one day after their big game against the Lakers. This time they will be playing a Golden State team that has lost two games in a row and seven of their last 10. The 8-22 Warriors should help the Celtics bounce back after losing for the first time in 20 games yesterday to the Lake Show.

You will find nine more games on tonight’s NBA slate, including a marquee matchup between the Dallas Mavericks and the Utah Jazz taking place in Salt Lake. The rest of the games are the Bulls at the Heat, Bobcats at the Nets, Timberwolves at the Knicks, the Rockets visiting New Orleans, Oklahoma City taking on Detroit, the Pacers visiting Memphis, the Sixers heading to Denver to face the Nuggets, and finally the Raptors out in Sacramento taking on the Kings.
