Sportsbook.com Payouts

We highly recommend Sportsbook.com (read our Sportsbook.com review for the full details as to why) to any of our readers who use credit cards or debit cards to deposit in their online sportsbook. This company does a phenomenal job of making sure that the card goes through and you can deposit money into your account.

Now after you have been winning with your sports betting and want to make a withdrawal things do not go quite as smoothly. This is a top notch book so you can rest assured that you will be paid, but probably not as quickly as both you and Sportsbook.com would like. The truth of the matter is that the industry as a whole experiences problems, but due to the size of Sportsbook.com they have a tough time with processors. That means that for the reason your money is safe (they are so huge) it is also difficult for you to get your money.

You will be paid out with a cashier’s check, but the time frame as of the beginning of 2009 is somewhere between four to eight weeks. This is slightly longer than industry standards, but every one is having problems so don’t think that another book is going to be able to offer you a check within a week’s time.

With the delays aside this is still a very good book that treats their clients well. It’s a great place to get decent lines and for anyone looking to make their first online deposit, it doesn’t get much easier than working with Sportsbook.com.

Sportsbook.com is listed as a good book? Are you getting paid by them? They have had these payout problems for over 3 years, it’s always some BS about their payment processor. Any establishment that allows there service to be subpar (putting it lightly) for over 3 years simply does not care about their customers. One day these crooks are just going to shut down the website and take everyone’s money – GUARANTEED!

    Jim,

By payout problems I think that you mean payout delays. I don’t think this is BS either simply due to their large size. It’s the same reason Bodog is having problems right now, the volume is too large and there are only a limited amount of companies that want to deal with them. These guys are not going to shut down their website and steal everyone’s money though, that’s just unjustified paranoia.

I have been trying to get paid out by sportsbook.com for 4 months. After four months they now say that the check they sent me was not cashed so that they redeposited the money back into the account and that I can start the process of withdrawal over again. I think the place is just one big rip and I am trying to find the right government agency to go after them any suggestions.

I read these type blogs about sportsbook.com and got scared, but I used USEMYWALLET for my withdrawal, and got my dough quickly. I recommend that method of withdrawal. I was not happy about all the new rules (ID, utility bill), but whatever.
