With the 2011 MLB Spring Training in full swing, it’s time to take a look at each team’s chances of winning the World Series this season. Below I will list the odds on every team in both the American League and the National League. I will also give a quick sentence or two on whether or not each squad has a legitimate shot to take down the crown come October. 2011 National League Central Predictions - February 22, 2011

The Cincinnati Reds came out of nowhere to win the National League Central in 2010. It was the third straight season a different team has took home the division title. The St Louis Cardinals won it in 2009, while the Chicago Cubs won it back in 2008. One thing hasn’t changed in the division, and that is the lack of postseason success.  The NL Central is 0-12 in the playoffs, since the Cardinals won the World Series in 2006. The Cubs scored 148 less runs in 2009 than they did the previous season, and Milton Bradley was a big reason why. He got a three-year...

2009 Chicago Cubs Predictions - February 25, 2009

The Chicago Cubs failed to win a World Series for the 100th straight season, and while the Cubs won the NL Central for the second straight season, going an impressive 97-64, the disappointing showing in the postseason against the Los Angeles Dodgers is all that remains on the Cubs’ minds after failing to win a playoff game for the second straight year. The Cubs haven’t made many big moves this offseason, as the only big addition is switch hitting outfielder Milton Bradley.  The Cubs...
