2011 Colorado State Football Predictions - June 30, 2011

The Colorado State Rams really struggled to get anything going in 2010. They finished 2-6 in the Mountain West Conference and were just 3-9 overall. Head coach Steve Fairchild has now went just 6-18 after leading the Rams to a bowl game and a 7-6 finish in 2008. With 14 starters back for the 2011 season, the hope is that Colorado State can once again be competitive in the MWC. 2011 Moutain West Football Predictions - June 29, 2011

The Mountain West looked like it had the potential to become a very powerful conference when Boise State decided to leave the WAC to join, but since the Broncos declared their move Utah has left for the PAC-12, BYU is now an independent, and TCU is leaving after this season to join the Big East. TCU at Colorado State - September 29, 2010

The No. 5 TCU Horned Frogs take on the Colorado State Rams Saturday as they look to improve to 5-0 this season. The odds makers obviously feel that won’t be a problem, considering the oddsfor this game show TCU -33 over Colorado State. Though the Horned Frogs beat SMU last week 41-24, they weren’t all that sharp and needed a strong second half to finally put the game away. Colorado vs Colorado St - September 1, 2010

What better way to start a football season than with a little instate rivalry. That is exactly what is going to take place when the Colorado Buffaloes and the Colorado State Rams square off on Saturday. The game will be played at neither school’s home field, as the two teams signed a ten year deal to play at Invesco Field in Denver. The Rams upset the Buffaloes in 2009, winning 23-17.
