The USC Trojans will look to bounce back from a heartbreaking triple-overtime loss to Stanford when they go on the road to take on the Colorado Buffaloes Friday night. The games is scheduled for 9:00 ET and will be televised nationally on ESPN.  USC allowed Stanford to tie the game at 34-34 with just 38 seconds left in regulation and would go on to lose 48-56 in one of the most entertaining games of the season. They figure to have a great shot at getting back on the board with a win, as the Buffaloes...

Colorado at Hawaii Line - September 1, 2011

The Colorado Buffaloes and Hawaii Warriors kick off their season Saturday in a rematch from last year’s 31-13 victory by the Buffaloes. Colorado won at home behind 470 yards of total offense, but will have to visit Hawaii this time around. The start time is set for 10:15 EST and this game will be nationally televised on ESPN 2. Taking a look at the college football odds, I find a line of Hawaii -7 over Colorado with a total set of 55 points. Hawaii It’s easy to see why the Warriors are the favorite...

2011 Colorado Football Predictions - June 23, 2011

The Colorado Buffaloes get ready for their first season in the PAC-12, as they along with the Utah Utes joined what was formally known as the PAC-10. Colorado finished 2010 5-7 overall and just 2-6 in the Big 12. The Buffaloes are hoping the conference switch will lead to more wins, as they haven’t had a winning season since going 7-6 in 2006. The Big 12 has been the more steady conference over the years, but the Buffaloes have benefited from playing in a terrible Big 12 North division. 2011...

2011 PAC-12 Football Predictions - June 15, 2011

In 2010 what is now formally known as the PAC-10 featured two of the best teams in the entire country in Oregon and Stanford. The Ducks went a perfect 12-0 before falling to Auburn in the BCS National Championship game, while the Cardinal also landed in a BCS bowl game, beating Virginia Tech 40-12 in the Orange Bowl. Stanford’s only loss came on the road at Oregon, in a game where they blew a huge first half lead. The problem with this conference is the rest of the teams just aren’t all...

It’s time for the 2011 Phillips 66 Big 12 Men’s Basketball Tournament to get under way. Kansas has wrapped up the regular season title, and it appears this is likely going to be a two-team race. I will be giving my predictions on this tournament that runs from Wednesday, March 9 through Saturday, March 12 in Kansas City, Missouri. If you are looking...

2010-11 Colorado College Basketball Predictions - November 18, 2010

Former Colorado head coach Jeff Bzdelik bolted for Wake Forest this past Spring, but he actually left behind a quality team in Boulder. Colorado went 15-16 last season and they have not been to the NCAA Tournament since 2003. Still, with what new head coach Tad Boyle has to work with gives the Buffaloes hope to end this drought. Boyle came over from Northern Colorado and managed to keep around the three key players that led Colorado last season. Last year’s Big 12 Freshman of the Year in Alec Burks...

Colorado vs Colorado St - September 1, 2010

What better way to start a football season than with a little instate rivalry. That is exactly what is going to take place when the Colorado Buffaloes and the Colorado State Rams square off on Saturday. The game will be played at neither school’s home field, as the two teams signed a ten year deal to play at Invesco Field in Denver. The Rams upset the Buffaloes in 2009, winning 23-17. Colorado finished up the 2009 season at just 3-9, but are hoping for a big turnaround in 2010 with 17 starters...

Dan Hawkins is squarely on the hot seat at Colorado after going 16-33 in his first four years there. Preseason predictions don’t mean a whole lot, but it doesn’t appear that many experts feel that Colorado is going to be able to turn it around. With 9 offensive and 7 defensive starters back, they have the experience to pull off some upsets this year. You will find Colorado at +5000 to win the Big 12 in 2010. The college football lines over at BetUS are posted for futures wagers. Below I preview...

Two teams that absolutely despise each other will hook up in Boulder Friday afternoon when Nebraska clashes with Colorado. The last two seasons the loser of this game has missed a chance to play in a bowl game. Neither has to worry about that this year as Nebraska has locked up the Big 12 North title and the Buffaloes have notched only three wins this season in what will most likely be Dan Hawkins last. The Huskers will look to build momentum for their title match-up with the 3rd ranked Texas Longhorns....

Colorado at Oklahoma State Odds - November 18, 2009

The Colorado Buffaloes have had a season to forget, but the Oklahoma State Cowboys are having a pretty successful season. Even without suspended star receiver Dez Bryant the Cowboys have gone 8-2 and could still play in a very good bowl game. Colorado’s Dan Hawkins may well be on his way out if his team doesn’t step up in a big way over their last couple of games. Oklahoma State has just two losses on the season, defeats at the hands of  Texas and Houston, both at home. Zac Robinson...
