2009 Texas Bowl Odds & Picks - December 14, 2009

It will be a middle of the pack Big 12 squad vs. one of the stronger Independent teams when the Mizzou Tigers and Navy Midshipmen meet. Styles will contrast in this match up as Missouri loves to air it out with strong armed quarterback Blaine Gabbert, while Navy relies on the triple action attack that is ran effectively by Ricky Dobbs. Points should come in bunches as the offenses outclass the defenses by a wide margin in this game. Our latest college football odds show that Mizzou is a 6.5 point...

Army vs. Navy College Football Odds - December 9, 2009

Though they aren’t two of the top teams in the country the rivalry between the Army Black Knights and the Navy Midshipmen is second to none in many ways. Off the field these two are allies, but when they get on the field they play one of the hardest hitting football games of the entire college football season. Navy has won the rivalry seven years in a row, so Army really wants to win one badly. Army is a much improved team this season, but Navy is a very formidable foe. If you want to receive...

Football Betting Odds: Navy at Notre Dame - November 4, 2009

The Naval Academy has one of its best teams in recent years. They are 6-3 this season with good wins against Wake Forest and Air Force. Quarterback Ricky Dobbs is probable for this game with a Knee injury but all signs seem to be a go for this weekend’s rivalry game vs the Irish. Dobbs has thrown for 618 yards with 3 passing touchdowns and 2 interceptions while adding 595 rushing yards and 16 touchdowns on the ground. He is a very explosive quarterback that should cause Notre Dame problems...

Navy at Pittsburgh Odds - September 18, 2009

The Navy Midshipmen and the Pittsburgh Panthers are both programs that have been up and coming over the last few years. Navy has made a bowl game for six seasons in a row and the Midshipmen have really become a very disciplined team that has perfected the option offense under head coach Ken Niumatalolo. Pittsburgh is dealing with a major loss from last year’s team because LeSean McCoy opted to go pro after the conclusion of last season. Pittsburgh has rolled quite nicely through its first two games...

Navy 2009 College Football Predictions - August 3, 2009

First-year coach Ken Niumatalolo kept the winning streak alive last season in the post-Paul Johnson era. The Navy Midshipmen posted a sixth straight winning season and won the Commander-in-Chief’s Trophy for a sixth straight year as well. Another bowl season is expected in 2009 for the Midshipmen, who have 13 consecutive wins over their service academy rivals. The schedule is tougher than ever with eight bowl opponents that include Ohio State, so this team will be tested greatly in Niumatalolo’s...

2009 Navy Midshipmen NCAA Football Predictions - July 9, 2009

The Navy Midshipmen finished up the 2008 season at 8-5, and have now won at least 8 games in each of the last 6 seasons. Navy finished the regular season at 7-4, but was unable to come away with a win in their EagleBank Bowl game against Wake Forest. This year the Midshipmen will have to keep the streak of 8 win seasons a live with just 11 returning starters, but they were able to win 8 games last year with just 12 starters back. Here is a quick look at both sides of the football, plus my prediction...

Pitt at Navy College Football Picks & Predictions - October 15, 2008

Pitt is easily the new favorite to win the Big East. Yes Navy did knock off Wake Forest previously this year, but do not expect that to happen here as we see Pitt only being a three point favorite over Navy in this game as a steal with the college football odds this week. The Panthers enter this game on a four game win streak due in large part to running back LeSean McCoy. McCoy had a huge break out game against a tough South Florida defense. He ran for 142 yards and two scores. Look for McCoy to...
