Week 17 NFL Picks - December 31, 2009

The Eagles and Cowboys square off in the marquee match up of Week 17. There is a lot on the line for both teams so expect a physical battle. Philly is firing on all cylinders currently, but will face a Dallas defense that has been up to the task in recent weeks. They shutdown the high powered Saints offense for the most part and made Washington look silly. The front four of the Cowboys will pressure Donovan McNabb for four quarters and get the cover. Play: Dallas -3 Chicago finally showed what type...

If you haven’t started to bet on football yet, sign up at BetUS and receive $500 free when you deposit $500 or more. The Dolphins went into Foxboro and won last year, but I don’t think it happens twice in a row. They’ll get their yards and keep the game pretty close, but the Patriots will outscore them. Prediction: Patriots 31 Dolphins 21 The Packers travel to Tampa to take on the...

NFL Predictions: Week 7 - October 25, 2009

The biggest game of the weekend is probably the Minnesota Vikings and the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Vikings are still unbeaten, but can they beat the Steelers on the road? The Steelers are very tough to beat at home, and I think Big Ben and the offense will come through at the end in a close one. Prediction: Steelers 24 Vikings 21 The Green Bay Packers head to Cleveland to take on the lowly Browns. As if things weren’t bad enough for them, more than 10 Browns players have become ill this week. The...

NFL Score Predictions Week 6 - October 16, 2009

The New York Giants head to the Big Easy to take on New Orleans in a battle of unbeaten teams. The Giants and the Saints have nearly identical offensive numbers as far as yardage, but the Giants have an edge on the defensive side of the ball. The Saints defense is much improved from a year ago, but I think the Giants continue their winning ways on the road. Prediction: Giants 28 Saints 24 The winless Chiefs will visit Washington, another team that has come under a lot of scrutiny this season. I wouldn’t...

NFL Score Predictions for Week 5 - October 9, 2009

The Cleveland Browns almost had that first win last week, but they blew their chances and went to 0-4. The Bills have looked bad the last few weeks, but the Browns coming to town will probably make them look better. Prediction: Buffalo 24 Cleveland 17 Dallas is just 2-2 to start the season, but the head to Kansas City where things are much worse for the 0-4 Chiefs. Tony Romo and the offense from Dallas will likely find moving the ball much easier against this below par defense of KC. Prediction:...

Week 4 NFL Predictions - October 2, 2009

We head into week 4 action in the NFL, and it has been a very entertaining start to the 2009 season. After 3 weeks of play seven division leaders have yet to lost a game, but none of which are 2008 division winners Tennessee, Carolina, and Miami, as all three have started the season 0-3. It also seems like the Steelers and Cardinals are experiencing a little Super Bowl hangover, as they both have started the season 1-2. If you are looking to do some NFL betting this weekend, I have taken the time...

Redskins Buccaneers Odds - October 1, 2009

The Washington Redskins have to be wondering what direction their football team is headed in, as they really looked bad last week against the Detroit Lions, as they allowed the Lions to snap their regular season losing streak with a 19-14 win. In week 4 the Redskins will try to keep their season alive, as they host the winless Tampa Bay Buccaneers, who lost their third straight game in a blowout loss to the New York Giants 24-0 last week. For those of you looking to bet on the NFL this weekend, current...

Bears Lions Week 4 NFL Predictions - October 1, 2009

In week 4 of NFL action the Chicago Bears are set to host the Detroit Lions in a NFC North showdown. After starting the season off with a disappointing loss to the Green Bay Packers, the Bears have bounced back with two straight wins, including a 25-19 win on the road over the Seattle Seahawks last week. On the other hand the Detroit Lions are coming into the game this weekend off their first win in a long time, as they finally snapped their regular season losing streak with a 19-14 win over the...

The New York Giants will look to push their record to a perfect 4-0 this Sunday, when they head to Kansas City to take on the 0-3 Chiefs. The Giants come into the game fresh off their 24-0 beating of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, while the Chiefs really struggled last week on the road, losing to the Philadelphia Eagles 34-14. The New York Giants will look to keep their impressive start to the 2009 season going this Sunday when they travel to Tampa Bay and take on the winless Buccaneers. The Giants moved to 2-0 after they went into Dallas and spoiled the Cowboys home opener with a 33-31 win, while the Buccaneers dropped to 0-2 after they lost to the Bills 20-33. Current NFL odds have the Giants 6.5 point favorites over the Buccaneers, while the over/under is currently sitting at 44. Giants Preview: I for one did not think...

Redskins Lions Week 3 NFL Predictions - September 25, 2009

Its pretty evident that there isn’t a lot of interest surrounding the Detroit Lions and Washington Redskins game this Sunday, especially in Detroit, as the game is likely going to be blacked out to the surrounding area. Thats because the Lions haven’t won a game since week 16 of the 2007 season, and fans seem to have lost their faith in this team. Even though it doesn’t seem likely that the Redskins will lose this game, it is definitely a game the Lions could win if the Redskins...

Arizona Cardinals vs San Francisco 49ers NFL Predictions - September 11, 2009

This Sunday the San Francisco 49ers will head to Arizona to take on the defending NFC Champion Cardinals in an early NFC West showdown. Arizona jumped out to an early lead in the division last year, and never had to worry the rest of the way. The 49ers along with the Seattle Seahawks figure to be the two teams that can possibly take down the Cardinals this season. Current NFL odds have the Cardinals 6.5 point favorites and the over/under set at 46 points. Cardinals Outlook: The Cardinals offense...

Washington Redskins vs New York Giants NFL Picks & Odds - September 11, 2009

This article is for a past game.  Please see our Redskins at Giants odds article for the most recent preview in this match up. This Sunday the New York Giants will look to bounce back from a disappointing finish to the 2008 season when they host the Washington Redskins in a week 1 NFC East division showdown. The Giants went into the postseason as the No.1 seed, but were unable to beat the Philadelphia Eagles to head to the NFC Championship game. For the Redskins they are hoping that after two mediocre...

2009 NFC West Predictions - August 30, 2009

The NFC West division has proven to be one of the weakest in the league for a few years now. Every once in a while they surprisingly sneak in a Super Bowl berth, where the Rams, Seahawks and Cardinals have all made trips to the big one this decade. But as a whole, this division doesn’t stack up very well against the rest of the divisions in the NFC. That said, it is up for grabs between the Seattle Seahawks, Arizona Cardinals and the San Francisco 49ers. The Rams appear to be at least another year...

2009 NFC South Predictions - August 29, 2009

The NFC South was arguably the best division in football last year as every team finished with a .500 record or better. Two teams came out of this division to make the playoffs as the Panthers earned a first-round bye after winning the NFC South with a 12-4 record and the Atlanta Falcons earned the Wild Card with an impressive 11-5 record. It appears to be very competitive at the top where the Panthers, Falcons and Saints will battle it out again. The Buccaneers are rebuilding so they shouldn’t...

2009 NFC North Predictions - August 27, 2009

The NFC North figures to be much more competitive than it was a year ago. This division breaks in three very talented quarterbacks in Brett Favre, Jay Cutler and Matthew Stafford to go along with Aaron Rodgers at Green Bay. It appears every team should improve on their records from a year ago, and the Minnesota Vikings will have their work cut out for them if they are to repeat as division champs. We give you our NFC North predictions below for the upcoming season. Let’s take a look at the NFL...

NFL Season Predictions 2009 - August 24, 2009

While at the beginning of the NFL season everyone is optimistic, in the end 30 teams will fail to reach the Superbowl. Last season Arizona made the unlikely run to the Superbowl as 20-1 longshots only to come up short to the Pittsburgh Steelers. This season I am going with the Vegas favorites to make to the big dance with the New York Giants facing off against the New England Patriots. The 2009 New England Patriots appear to have a better team than the version that was undefeated heading into the...

2009 AFC South Predictions - August 20, 2009

The AFC South seems to get more and more competitive every year. The Colts used to own this division, but the Tennessee Titans took it down in 2008 and the Jaguars and Texans are both on the rise. It should be very competitive once again this season, making this division one of toughest to predict. We’ll give it a shot with our AFC South predictions below. Check out the odds to win the AFC West at Sportsbook.com where they already have several different NFL betting lines posted for the upcoming...
