Below I will list the odds on every team in both the American League and the National League. I will also give a quick sentence or two on whether or not each squad has a legitimate shot to take down the crown come October. 2011 American League West Predictions - February 23, 2011

The Texas Rangers broke through with their best season in franchise history in 2010. The Rangers went 90-72 to run away with the AL West, and went on to win the American League Pennant before losing to the San Francisco Giants in the World Series. The Oakland Athletics were better than expected at 81-81, just ahead of the Los Angeles Angels who finished 80-82. The Seattle Mariners brought up the rear at 61-101. MLB Team Pitching Staff Rankings - February 22, 2011

While you can’t win without scoring, pitching is arguably the most important aspect of the game in determining who wins and loses. The San Francisco Giants led the majors in the regular season with a 3.36 ERA, and went on to win the World Series, but great pitching doesn’t guarantee success. 2010 Oakland Athletics Predictions - March 9, 2010

GM Billy Beane’s plans for rebuilding the Oakland Athletics are not working, and in 2009 they finished their third consecutive season with a sub-.500 record. The A’s finished last in the AL West, going 75-87, and also had the lowest average attendance in the majors at 17,392. Until this team can move from the old Coliseum to the Silicon Valley area, the attendance numbers aren’t likely to improve, especially with the dreadful moves that Beane keeps making. Oakland lacks power in their line-up,...

2009 Oakland Athletics Predictions - March 24, 2009

For so many years it seemed like the Oakland A’s could just dump away some of its best players and still compete in the AL West every single year, but the A’s are coming off their first consecutive losing seasons since the 1997 and 1998 seasons. While the offense should should better in 2009 with the additions of former Athletic Jason Giambi, OF Matt Holliday and SS Orlando Cabrera, but the real question lies in the starting rotation where they will count on the young arms of 4 players...
