With the 2011 MLB Spring Training in full swing, it’s time to take a look at each team’s chances of winning the World Series this season. Below I will list the odds on every team in both the American League and the National League. I will also give a quick sentence or two on whether or not each squad has a legitimate shot to take down the crown come October. 2011 American League East Predictions - February 24, 2011

The Tampa Bay Rays took down the AL East in 2010 for a second time in three seasons with a 96-66 record. With all the losses they suffered in the offseason, it would be quite an accomplishment for them to overtake the Yankees and Red Sox again. New York earned the wild-card spot while finishing second in the division with a 95-67 record. Boston was plagued by injuries they could never overcome, finishing 89-73. 2011 Toronto Blue Jays Predictions - February 17, 2011

The fact that the Toronto Blue Jays managed a winning record (85-77) in the tough AL East last season was an accomplishment in itself. Still, it doesn’t appear that they will end a near-two decade postseason drought which extends back to the Joe Carter home run to clinch the 1993 World Series. 2009 Toronto Blue Jays Predictions - March 24, 2009

Life was already tough for the Toronto Blue Jays in the AL East, and with the Rays looking like they are going to be good for at least a few more years, it really makes it difficult for the Blue Jays to jump to the top of the division. Last year the Blue Jays finished 10 games above .500 at 86-76, but finished 11 games back of the Rays for the AL East title and 9 games behind the Red Sox, who won the Wild Card spot. The Blue Jays are expected to continue on with their youth movement, and while they...
