Texas Tech at Kansas Football Betting Odds & Lines

Two high powered offenses square off this weekend in Lawrence. Both Kansas and Texas Tech can score points in bunches, but more important, both struggle to stop teams from scoring. The college football lines on this game are out, and Kansas is a 1.5-point favorite with the total set at 66.5.

Texas Tech, once again, brings to the table a pass-happy offense. The Red Raiders are averaging close to 46 points per game and are led by quarterback Graham Harrell. Harrell has thrown for 2,761 yards and 23 touchdowns so far this season. What most people do not realize about Harrell is how accurate he is. He has completed 70% of his passes thus far and has only thrown five interceptions despite throwing an average of 45 times per game.

Kansas defense has given up 30.7 points per game. Taking a look closely Kansas has faced two ranked teams in South Florida and Oklahoma. In these two games the Jayhawks have given up 82 points. Texas Tech brings a similar offense to the table as Oklahoma has does. Look for it to be another long day for Kansas.

Like Kansas, Texas Tech also struggles to stop opponents from finding the end zone. Texas Tech is given up 28 points per game since beginning Big 12 play. Kansas is easily the best offense they will have since so far this season.

Todd Reesing is having another great year for Kansas. He has completed 70% of his passes and has tossed 17 touchdowns and has run for two more. Look for Reesing to have another big day, as last week he threw for 342 yards and two touchdowns against a tough Oklahoma defense.
