Tickets to the NCAA Tournament
The NCAA Tournament first and second rounds are set to kick off March 20 – March 23 at Birmingham’s Alltel Arena, N. Little Rock’s BJCC Arena, Anaheim’s Honda Center, Denver’s Pepsi Center, Omaha’s Qwest Center; Raleigh’s RBC Center, Tampa’s St. Pete Times Forum, and Washington, DC’s Verizon Center. The following week the tournament will invade Phoenix’s US Airways Center, Detroit’s Ford Field, Charlotte’s Charlotte Arena, and Houston’s Reliant Stadium. Then finally the tournament stops at San Antonio’s Alamodome on April 5 for the NCAA Final Four Semi-finals, and then again April 7 for the NCAA Final Four Championship Game. Tickets are currently available for all 19 of these sites. Now is a great time to get your tickets, as their availability will steadily drop the closer we get to the start of the tournament.
For fans just wanting to make it to a tournament game, for the reason of just saying that you went to one. We strongly suggest looking at tickets for the first and second rounds. These tickets are a little easier to get a hold of, because there are so many different sites. These tickets are also a lot cheaper compared to later rounds. While we understand that it is hard to predict where teams are going to play, it might be a safe bet to buy tickets to a region and if your team doesn’t happen to make it or play there you can sell your tickets on eBay, and maybe even make a little profit.
For the true fans that want to make sure they don’t miss any of the special moments, you are going to want to save up and get tickets to games in the Regional rounds. If you have the chance to get tickets to the semi-finals or the final it is usually a chance you don’t want to pass up. If think your team is going all the way, and you don’t want to miss the chance of seeing them cut down the nets. Then get ready to open up the wallet for these tickets. For the worst seats in the house you are going to have to shell out $450, keep in mind you also get the semi-final game along with the final game. If you are looking to go all out lower level tickets range from $1455 all the way up to court side VIP tickets for $4545.
