Todd Brunson
Written February 15, 2008 by Jack Jones

If Todd Brunson can have anywhere near the same success as his father Doyle, then he’ll be in for a great career. In 1989, Todd made the decision to forego his senior year at Texas Tech to play professional poker. At the early age of 20, his career as a poker pro had begun after playing for years at the table during his college days.
It soon became clear to everyone that Todd had the some of the same natural talent as his father. At the early age of 21 he won first place at the $200,000 main event in the Diamond Jim Brady tournament at the Bicycle Club in Los Angeles. He has know won 12 major poker tournaments, including four in the past year to go with three second-place finishes.
Todd Brunson won his first WSOP bracelet in 2005 and that made him and Doyle Brunson the first father-son combination to not only win bracelets in the same year, but overall.
This guy is considered one of the top players at the stud games as well, so much so that he wrote the stud either-or-better section of Doyle’s sequel to the Super/System. If there is a big game going on in Vegas, then you are going to find Todd right in the middle of it.
When Todd decides to play from his own home, he plays exclusively at Doyle’s Room. If you want to play in the bounty tournaments where you earn bonuses for knocking him out, or if you just want to try and take his money then sign up for an account today.
