Portland Trailblazers v. LA Lakers NBA Odds

Kobe Bryant and the Lakers host Portland tonight and their quest for an NBA championship. The Lakers will finally be healthy in this one for the first time in over a year as Andrew Bynum returns to the line up, make this Laker team even better. The current lines on the game is LA Lakers -7.5 over Portland with the total set at 194.
Kobe Bryant will look to have another MVP-type season this year. Bryant has been outstanding against the Trail Blazers in his career. Since the 2005 season, Bryant has averaged over 37 points per game against Portland. On opening night, Bryant and the Lakers will look to put on a show.
The Trailblazers bring a very young and inconsistent team to the table, which struggles on defense. This is not good news against the Lakers, who can score at will. Greg Oden will play his first game in the NBA tonight. However, look for Bynum and Pau Gasol to completely shut down Oden and give him a nice warm welcome to the NBA.
