The UFC is back for UFC 83: Serra vs. St-Pierre 2 on Saturday, April 19th. The UFC is heading to Canada for the first time, for what many people believe is the biggest event in UFC history. The event is set to take place in Montreal, Quebec at the Bell Centre. The name of the event says it all as George St-Pierre gets his shot at revenge after being shocked by Matt Serra at UFC 69 a little over a year ago. As UFC continues to grow in popularity there are many people out there placing bets on the fights. So we have went through each fight that is scheduled to air on Pay-Per-View this weekend. Here are the odds for each fight, and a bit of information on each fight.

Matt Serra (16-4-0) +350 at Bodoglife.com

Vs.

George St. Pierre (15-2-0) -500 at Bodoglife.com

As you can see the odds makers aren’t buying what happened in the first fight between these two guys. While St-Pierre lost the Welterweight Championship to Serra in their previous fight, St- Pierre was able to win the Interim Welterweight Championship against Matt Hughes back in December after Serra was unable to go against Hughes due to injury. This fight is taking place at the hometown of St-Pierre so expect the crowd to be fully behind their hometown hero. All-in-all St-Pierre should win this fight, but we all know that Serra has the power to knock him out.

OUR PICK: George St-Pierre -500

Rich Franklin (24-3-0) -400 at Bodoglife.com

Vs.

Travis Lutter (12-4-0) +300 at Bodoglife.com

This is the next best thing to the main event, and it will see two of the UFC’s best middleweight fighters in former UFC Champ Rich Franklin will take on the winner of Ultimate fighter 4 in Travis Lutter. Franklin has been pretty unstoppable in the UFC as long as he isn’t fighting Anderson Silva, who has handed him his only two losses while in the UFC. Lutter hasn’t been near as impressive in the UFC as he is 2-3 and in great need of a win here. Lutter last UFC loss came against Anderson Silva at UFC 67. Though the odds are definitely in Franklins favor, this could be an upset in the waking, as Lutter will be fighting for his UFC life this weekend.

OUR PICK: Travis Lutter +300

Nate Quarry (14-2-0) -280 at Bodoglife.com

Vs.

Kalib Starnes (10-3-1) +200 at Bodoglife.com

This is the closet fights odds wise of them all, and should be a great fight as these two light Heavyweight fighters are trying to make a big name for themselves in the UFC. Both fighters have 5 or fewer fights in the UFC while Quarry is coming off a TKO win, Starnes is coming in off a TKO loss to Alan Belcher. Don’t be quick to judge Starnes, as he was impressive just two fights ago win he was able to take home a unanimous decision vs. Chris Lebon at UFC 71.

OUR PICK: Kalib Starnes + 200

Michael Bisping (15-1-0) -300 at Bodoglife.com

Vs.

Charles McCarthy (7-2-0) +230 at Bodoglife.com

This is another light heavyweight bout between two more solid fighters. McCarthy is coming in with 1 win and 1 loss in the UFC, with the last one coming in a win vs. Gideon Ray in the Ultimate fighter 4 finale. Bisping is no joke either as his first loss in the UFC came in a very close fight against Rashad Evans that came down to a split decision. Bisping was the winner of the Ultimate Fighter season 3, so this will be a showdown to see which season produced the better fighter.

OUR PICK: Michael Bisping -300

Marc Bocek (5-1-0) +350 at Bodoglife.com

Vs. Mac Danzig (18-4-1) -500 at Bodoglife.com

Yea we know this is probably going to be the first fight and you might be more worried about throwing a few back, but this is a fight worth watching. Bocek is all Canadian born and will be looking to use the same skills that led him to a victory against Doug Evans back at UFC 71. Danzig is definitely the more experienced fighter overall, and is coming off a victory against Tommy Speer in the Ultimate Fighter finale of Team Serra vs. Team Hughes. Both fighters only have two fights in the UFC, and a win here could go a long way in the path of their future in the UFC.

OUR PICK: Mac Danzig - 500
