With UFC 84 just this past weekend, fans should be pleased to know that they are only a couple weeks away from the next big UFC fight. On Saturday June 7th the UFC heads to the O2 Arena in London for UFC 85. With the odds already out on the fight we wanted to bring you our UFC 85 Bedlam Preview & Odds. With 5 big fights scheduled for the main card and a main event that has Matt Hughes taking on Thiago Alves UFC 85 is sure to please those who watch it. Former 2 time UFC Welterweight Champion Matt Hughes is set to get back in action after his tough loss to George St. Pierre at UFC 79, and highly ranked Thiago Alves will be out to prove that he is one of the top 170-pound contenders. This is sure to be a big fight and while Hughes is looking for a shot at Matt Serra, this is Alves shot at really making a name for himself in the UFC. This should be a big time and a great ending to a stacked card.

Michael Bisping vs. Jason Day

This is sure to be one of the more entertaining fights of the night as you get Bisping and his great stand up ability taking on Day and his excellent submission tactics. Both fighters will come in to the fight in excellent shape, and it could come down to who has the bigger heart of fight inside of them to take home the victory. Bisping has been great so far in the UFC, and is coming off TKO win against Charles McCarthy at UFC 83, and Day will be making his 2nd UFC fight after looking very dangerous in a 1st round TKO against Alan Belcher.

Marcus Davis vs. Mike Swick

As you can tell by the odds this is going to be one of the closest fights of the night. Davis is a southpaw that has the nickname of the “Irish hand Grenade” and hasn’t lost a fight since 2005 in the UFC. This former boxer uses his boxing skills and quickness to take out his opponents. He will face his toughest competition yet when he takes on Swick who has just 1 loss since 2004. Swick uses his speed and aggression to over power other fighters. This fight is sure to send one fighter home empty handed and the other one step closer to a title shot.

Nate Marquardt vs. Thales Leites

This should be another great fight to watch as you get a well-rounded fighter in Marquardt taking on Leites and his world class ground game. Where this fight is fought is sure to have a big effect on the outcome of the fight. If Marquardt keeps it on his feet he has to have the edge, but if it ends up on the floor for most of the fight then you could easily see Leites pulling off the upset. Marquardt started his UFC career going 4-0 before getting rude awakening against Anderson Silva at UFC 73, where he was knockout in the first round. Leites has won 3 straight in the UFC, with two coming by submission.

Brandon Vera vs. Fabrico Werdum

In yet another close fight you get Vera and his ability to send kicks, knees, and elbows taking on Werdum and his excellent ground game. Vera started off his UFC career going 6-0 before being handed his only MMA loss to Tim Sylvia by unanimous decision at UFC 77. Werdum just has 2 UFC fights under his belt but is a very solid 10-3-1 in MMA action. Werdum looked great in his last fight earlier this year when he beat Gabriel Gonzaga by TKO in the 2nd round.
