Week 10 College Football Lines

Written by

It’s time for another big week of college football.  Let’s take a look at some of the biggest matchups and I’ll give my score predictions on each one.  You can click on each match up for a more detailed preview of each game (updated throughout the week) and you can view the lines for every game on the docket with our college football odds feed.

Tuesday

Northern Illinois at Toledo (Toledo -9, Over/Under 68) – Neither team has a great defense, but both can put up a lot of points.  NIU 35, Toledo 42

Wednesday

Temple at Ohio (Temple -3.5, Over/Under 47.5) – Temple has had some ups and downs this year.  They are probably the better team, but this is no easy task on the road.  Temple 28, Ohio 24

Thursday

Akron at Miami of Ohio (Miami OH -14, Over/Under 47.5) – Arkon is one of the worst teams in the country this year.  I can see the Redhawks rolling in this one.  Miami Ohio 35, Arkon 13

Florida State at Boston College (Florida State -14.5, Over/Under 44) – Boston College has had some ugly losses this year, but bounced back nicely with a win over Maryland last week.  Unfortunately for them FSU has been on a roll lately and has been rolling against their ACC opponents.  Florida State 35, Boston College 14

Tulsa at Central Florida (UCF -1.5, Over/Under 48.5) – UCF has some impressive numbers at home, but they haven’t played anyone close to the caliber of this Tulsa team.  Tulsa 38, UCF 21

Friday

Central Michigan at Kent State (Kent State -1, Over/Under 43) – Kent State has some awful offensive numbers, but only about as awful as Central Michigan’s defensive statistics.  Kent State 21, C. Michigan 17

USC at Colorado (USC -21.5, Over/Under 57.5) – USC will be looking to avoid a letdown after a heartbreaking loss to Stanford last week, but they luckily get a Colorado team that shouldn’t put up much of a fight.  USC 49, Colorado 14

Saturday

LSU at Alabama (Alabama -4.5, Over/Under 41.5) – No. 1 versus No. 2 always brings a lot of drama and this game should be no exception.  Alabama 20, LSU 17

South Carolina at Arkansas (Arkansas -5, Over/Under 52.5) – South Carolina will need a lot of defense in this game as they are without their best offensive weapons.  This is a great spot for Arkansas to pick up a conference win.  Arkansas 31, South Carolina 14

Texas A&M at Oklahoma (Oklahoma -13.5, Over/Under 68.5) – Expect a lot of points again in this one, but don’t expect Oklahoma to forget last year’s game.  The Sooners will be out for revenge.  Oklahoma 42, Texas A&M 28

Michigan at Iowa (Michigan -4, Over/Under 57) – The Hawkeyes are typically pretty dangerous at home, but their loss against the hapless Minnesota Golden Gophers has them listed as underdogs against the Wolverines this week.  Michigan 28, Iowa 21

Texas Tech at Texas (Texas -12, Over/Under 60.5) – Texas Tech knocked off Oklahoma two weeks ago, then lost to Iowa State last week.  Who knows which version of the Red Raiders shows up against the Longhorns on Saturday.  Texas 34, Texas Tech 21

Kansas State at Oklahoma State (Oklahoma State -21, Over/Under 68) – The Cowboys have looked pretty much unstoppable this year, but Kansas State has been one of the biggest surprises in college football.  I think K State’s loss to Oklahoma last week was a bit of a wake up call, however, and see Okie State rolling on.  Oklahoma State 49, Kansas State 24

Missouri at Baylor (Baylor -2.5, Over/Under 73) – Pretty good match up here between two solid Big 12 teams.  I haven’t been nearly as impressed with Missouri, especially on the road.  I know they’ve played well in Waco over the years, but Robert Griffin III and Baylor has a lot of offense to compete with.  Baylor 48, Missouri 31

Oregon at Washington (Oregon -16, Over/Under 74) – This is the final game in Husky Stadium, but I don’t expect the Swan Song to be a pretty one for Washington.  The Ducks are on a roll.  Oregon 45, Washington 24
