New York Jets 19 New England Patriots 22 – the line on this game is New York +3 with the total set at 41. Odds makers are siding with history here as the Pats have won 13 of the last 16 meetings.

Denver Broncos 22 Atlanta Falcons 29 – the line on this game is Denver +6.5 with the total set at 51. Denver has been poor on the road this season while the Falcons are yet to go down at home.

Oakland Raiders 14 Miami Dolphins 24 – the line on this game is Oakland +10 with the total set at 38.5. A scare by lowly Seattle last week, but the books are still making Miami the big home faves against the lowly Raiders.

Baltimore Ravens 17 New York Giants 24 – the line on this game is Baltimore +7 with the total set at 41.5. It looks like odds makers have the Ravens’ offensive losing a little steam against the Super Bowl champs.

Houston Texans 21 Indianapolis Colts 29 – the line on this game in Houston +8 with the total set at 50.5. The books feel as though Indy has things going in the right direction as they are getting healthier.

Tennessee Titans 21 Jacksonville Jaguars 18 – the line on this game is Jacksonville +3 with the total set at 39.5. The books thinks the Titans will live to see another day as the NFL’s last remaining undefeated.

Chicago Bears 20 Green Bay Packers 23 – the line on this game is Chicago +3.5 with the total set at 42.5. The books think the Bears could will give up the NFC North lead this week at Green Bay despite the fact that Chicago has won four straight at Lambeau. I guess the offense did not inspire much confidence last week.

Philadelphia Eagles 25 Cincinnati Bengals 16 – the line on this game is Cincy +9 with the total set at 41. Odds makers expect the Eagles offense to dominate a poor Bengals defense.

New Orleans Saints 28 Kansas City Chiefs 23 – the line on this game is Kansas City +5.5 with the total set at 50.5. The books like the Saints to get on the board with their first road win of the season (not counting its neutral field win in England).

Detroit Lions 13 Carolina Panthers 27 – the line on this game is Detroit +14 with the total set at 40. Make it 0-10 for Detroit as they come up against one of the best teams in the NFC.

Minnesota Vikings 17 Tampa Bay Buccaneers 21 – the line on this game is Minnesota +4 with the total set at 38.5. The odds makers don’t think the Vikings can score enough points to win against one of the best defensive teams in the NFL.

St Louis Rams 18 San Francisco 49ers 24 – the line on this game is St. Louis +6.5 with the total set at 43.5. St. Louis is bad and banged up and that appears to be good news for a bad 49ers team.

Arizona Cardinals 25 Seattle Seahawks 22 – the line on this game is Seattle +3 with the total set at 47.5. Arizona hasn’t inspired much confidence on the road this season, but odds makers like them against 2-7 Seattle.

San Diego Chargers 19 Pittsburgh Steelers 24 – the line on this game is San Diego +5 with the total set at 42. The books don’t see much of a charge from a struggling San Diego team at Pittsburgh this week.

Dallas Cowboys 22 Washington Redskins 21 – the line on this game in Washington +1.5 with the total set at 43. Romo is likely to return and the Boys are suddenly favored. Are the books jumping the gun?
