Week 12 NFL Picks

Historically, the Texans have played the Colts extremely tough as they meet two times a year. Earlier this season K Kris Brown missed a field goal attempt that would have sent the game into overtime. Texan players are calling this game a must win if they want a shot at making the playoffs. Indy has won close game after close game and the run will continue here. Play: Colts -3.5
The fading Bears travel to the Metrodome to take on the 9-1 Minnesota Vikings. The NFC North features some of the most heated rivalries and seeing a double digit spread seems too high for my liking. If QB Jay Cutler can figure out how to take care of the ball and still move the offense with efficiency the Bears could have a chance to pull this out on the road. Play: Bears +11
Philadelphia picked up a huge road win last week at Chicago that kept them in the playoff hunt. They cannot afford another lapse against an inferior team like they had at Oakland earlier this season when the Redskins come to town. The Skins’ have been covering the number rather easily the last couple weeks, but it will end here. Philly’s offense is clicking and Washington’s offense will struggle to put points on the board once again. Play: Eagles -9
The Dolphins will look to continue to make their second half surge with a win at division foe Buffalo. RB Ricky Williams filled in nicely for an injured Ronnie Brown and will see the majority of the carries the rest of the way. Buffalo has played better football recently, but the Dolphins have too many weapons on both sides of the ball to not cover the number in this spot. Our NFL lines show the Dolphins favored by 3. Play: Dolphins -3
Two teams disappointed about how their season has unfolded to this point meet up in the Meadowlands this Sunday when the Jets host the Panthers. The running game for both teams will be at the forefront so expect a low scoring affair that comes down to one possession either way. I like the Panthers getting a field goal on the road. Their running game is a bit more explosive and should find enough holes to win straight up. Play: Carolina +3
Kansas City will make the trip out to the west coast and take on the red hot San Diego Chargers. First year head coach Todd Haley picked up his biggest win yet last week when his Chiefs took out the Pittsburgh Steelers. This could be a nice spot for a KC cover as the Chargers are coming off a huge win at Denver that put them atop the division. If you bet the NFL, you can get a $100 match bonus with Bodog to pad your bankroll. Play: Chiefs +13.5
The marquee match-up of the season goes off on Monday night when the 7-3 Patriots clash with the 10-0 New Orleans Saints. Tom Brady and Bill Belichick know that they are the underdog in this game and that should add fuel to the fire. No one can scheme better for the Saints intrinsic offense better than “the hoodie” and Brady will find enough holes in the New Orleans defense to steal a road victory. Play: Patriots +1.5
Other Plays
49ers -3 vs. Jaguars
Falcons -12 vs. Bucs
Seahawks -3 @ Rams
Browns +14 @ Bengals
