Week 13 NFL Picks

The Jets and Bills kickoff Week 13 with a AFC East battle. New York will take their rookie quarterback Mark Sanchez on the road and try to win a second straight game. Buffalo has played well for their interim coach and have found a way to get T.O. the ball. They have a good running game and beat the Jets in the Meadowlands earlier this season. You have to take the points in this situation. Play: Bills +3
Peyton Manning has the Colts undefeated and making second half comebacks look easy. The Titans are 5-0 under the resurgent Vince Young and face a tall task taking down Indy on the road. Tennessee was taken to the woodshed by Manning and company in Week 5, losing 31 to 9. That loss will be fresh on their mind and these two teams usually play games that come down to the wire. Ride the Titans as the defense is finally healthy and capable of slowing down Indy’s offense. Play: Titans +6.5
Atlanta hosts Philadelphia in a crucial game that has playoff implications. There are so many question marks surrounding the Falcons offense and it is already known that Chris Redman will start at quarterback. They barely got by Tampa Bay with Redman at the helm. Philly is going through injury issues themselves, but Donovan McNabb is healthy. The Eagles are too explosive on offense to not cover this number. The NFL odds show the Eagles favored by 5.5 points this Sunday. Play: Eagles -5.5
Classic letdown game for the Saints when they travel to Washington. The Redskins have played much better football as of late even though that is not resulting in more wins. New Orleans played in their regular season Super Bowl against New England and will look past the lowly Skins. Jim Zorn is trying to save his job and a win against the Saints would be a great start. Play: Washington +9.5 (would recommend buying the hook).
San Francisco will look to make it 5-0 against their divisional opponents this year when they battle the Seahawks in Seattle. The 49ers slip up here in my opinion as Seattle has one of the greatest home field advantages in the NFL. RB Justin Forsett has filled in nicely for the injured Julius Jones and the Seahawk defense thrives on forcing turnovers. San Francisco has lost their last four games on the road and will continue that streak here. Get a $100 match bonus from Bodog this season that you can use for your NFL betting. Play: Seahawks pick em’
A key NFC East match-up goes down in the Meadowlands between the Giants and Cowboys. If the Giants don’t turn it around now then they can start planning for next year. The public is on Dallas so the line should rise to 3. Shop around and if you can get a field goal at home for NY jump all over it. This game will be tightly contested throughout and K Lawrence Tynes will win it for the G-men. Play: Giants +3
Don’t look now, but the Green Bay Packers have won three straight and are making a legit playoff push. Baltimore rolls into Lambeau Field coming off a overtime victory over the Steelers. The Ravens have been a completely different team on the road. QB Joe Flacco seems to fold under the pressure and teams are starting to key on RB Ray Rice. Aaron Rodgers faces a stern test against the Ravens D, but has performed admirably the entire year. Play: Packers -3
