Written October 16, 2008 by Jack Jones

If you are in an office pool that picks straight up winners on each game then we are here to help. Jack Jones once again will break down all of the games using the NFL odds to see who the experts in the desert see winning each contest. Now if you think that are you going to need help beating the lines this weekend, then get signed up for the NFL picks offered by the handicappers at our site. They know the ins and the outs of NFL betting and are here to help you win more of your wagers.

Tennessee at Kansas City – The only undefeated team left in the NFL takes on the hapless Chiefs. The odds makers aren’t giving Kansas City much of a chance to win this one and why should the? Titans 21, Chiefs 14

San Diego at Buffalo – This is going to be a battle between two quality teams. The Chargers showed on Sunday night that they are still alive, while Buffalo has been quietly getting the job done all season long. Tough to spot a winner here. Bills 24, Chargers 21

Pittsburgh at Cincinnati – Without Carson Palmer the Benglas offense is stagnant, with him it hasn’t been a whole lot better. Pitt on the other hand has been getting the job done and will take this divisional game seriously. Steelers 24, Bengals 13

Baltimore at Miami – It’s almost hard to believe the that line on this game is so close the way the Dolphins have been playing lately. They beat the Pats and Chargers then lost in the closing seconds to the Texans. Dolphins 20, Ravens 17

Dallas at St. Louis – Is Romo going to play or not? We really don’t care since Brad Johnson is more than a capable backup. The Rams are coming off a win over the Redskins, but they are still terrible. Cowboys 27, Rams 16

Minnesota at Chicago – The Bears have dominated this series when playing at Soldier Field and have looked better in the early goings. I still think the Vikings are the better team, but not good enough to steal a win in Chicago. Bears 20, Vikings 17

New Orleans at Carolina – Carolina got embarrassed last week while the Saints rolled over the Raiders. To us that normally means that the short memory of the public will be all over New Orleans, but Carolina wins this one. Panthers 24, Saints 21

San Francisco at NY Giants – The 49ers have continued to disappoint week after week while the Giants finally played poorly. One streak has to stop here, and it will obviously be the better team. Giants 28, 49ers 17

Detroit at Houston – The Lions are a sinking ship while the Texans are better than their record shows. Texans 28, Lions 17

NY Jets at Oakland – The Jets got the Bengals last week and the Raiders this week. They need to keep beating the easy teams in order to get in playoff contention. Jets 22, Raiders 19

Cleveland at Washington – The Browns are coming off a game in which their offense finally showed some spark while the Redskins performance last week stunk up the DC area. It’s a new week though. Redskins 24, Browns 17

Indianapolis at Green Bay – Peyton Manning a favorite heading up Lambeau Field? It’s true. The Packers have been playing poorly while it finally seems the Colts have found their rythm. Colts 24, Packers 23

Seattle at Tampa Bay – Seattle needs Matt Hasselbeck in the lineup or else they are in trouble. Tampa’s defense is too much for the Seahawks either way. Bucs 24, Seahawks 14

Denver at New England – The Pats were exposed last week against the Chargers, while Denver still needs to play some defense if they want to be a contender. This one goes for New England though. Pats 26, Broncos 23
