Week 8 NFL Odds

Denver at Baltimore is a key game for both squads. The Ravens bye week could not have came at a better time after losing three in a row. Denver is coming off their own bye week after a huge win at division rival San Diego. Ray Lewis and company are going to come out with guns blazin’ against the undefeated Broncos. Baltimore is listed as a 3 point favorite with a total set at 42.
The Houston Texan offense is firing on all cylinders. Buffalo is coming off two straight wins behind QB Ryan Fitzpatrick. If Houston wants to be a playoff team, they have to beat teams like the Bills. The Texans are 7-3 ATS in their last ten game against the AFC. Look for Matt Schaub to pick apart a depleted Bills secondary. Houston is 3.5 point favorite and the o/u is set at 41.5
Bears head coach Lovie Smith is feeling the heat in Chicago after a 3-3 start. They get good news this weekend though when the 1-6 Cleveland Browns come to town. QB Jay Cutler has to cut down on the interceptions and the Bears need to rejuvenate their running game. Chicago is a 13.5 point favorite and the total is set at 40 points according to our most recent NFL betting odds.
Tony Romo is back in the good graces of Dallas fans after an impressive performance in a win over Atlanta. The Boys will look to make it two in a row when Hasselbeck and the Seahawks travel to the big D. Dallas will be extremely tough to beat if they keep getting superb play out of little known WR Miles Austin. Seattle has some issues that need to be addressed. The Seahawks are getting 9.5 with a total set at 46 points.
The Colts will look to make it seven straight against the fading San Francisco 49ers. Peyton Manning is playing at an MVP level and Indy’s defense has been stout. Considered a bust as the #1 draft pick of the 49ers that has seen little playing time, QB Alex Smith has a chance to prove doubters wrong. The 49ers need to get Frank Gore on track early in this one. The Colts are 12.5 favorites and the point total is set at 43.5. If you bet the NFL there’s simply no reason not to take advantage of the $500 match bonus at BetUS.
Miami better strap the helmets real tight on Sunday when they take on the New York Jets in the Meadowlands. It has only been a few weeks since the Dolphins shocked the Jets at home with their Wildcat attack. Don’t think head coach Rex Ryan doesn’t have something up his sleeve for the unique running game. The Jets are favored by a field goal with the o/u at 40.5
The G-men have suddenly lost two in a row and look vulnerable for the first time this season. Philly put a beatdown on the Redskins Monday night and know how important this game is for their playoff hopes. Injuries could finally be catching up with the Giants. The Eagles have to keep finding ways to get the ball to explosive wideout Desean Jackson. This game is a pick em’ with the total set at 44.
Brett Favre’s return to Green Bay should be a showcase to say the least. The Vikings won the first match-up this season behind a vintage Favre performance, but the Packers have been on a roll since and QB Aaron Rodgers was just named NFC player of the month. Emotions should be high on Sunday afternoon. Green Bay is a 3 point favorite with the total set at 47.5
